The main attraction in this game is based on the fact of finding these two sides separated by just a point with Alaves making a very good second half of the league. Therefore is quite weird seeing Alaves with a negative goal average but sitting 14th, while Real Sociedad placed 15th, has scored the same goals than they have conceded.
Alaves has managed to improved by so quick and they will come to this meeting after four victories and just one defeat in the last five confronts (lost game against Real Madrid). Real Sociedad used to be in the previous seasons a tough team playing at home soil, however, this current season they are not that consistent. Their form to face Alaves is not that good after two defeats, two ties and just a victory in the last five tests in all competitions.
According to the stats, I expect a tight match with Alaves collecting at least a point from this away game.
